VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using any previous version of Swoosie Software's
Media Utilities or Media Changer Deluxe, please uninstall it before installing
Desktop Deluxe. If you install Desktop Deluxe first, and then at a later date 
uninstall Swoosie Software Media Utilities or Media Changer Deluxe, certain aspects 
of Desktop Deluxe may not work correctly.

To uninstall Swoosie Software Media Utilities 1.0, select Start | Settings | 
Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs. From the list select Swoosie Software 
Media Utilities and select the Add/Remove button. At the prompt select Yes.

To uninstall Swoosie Software's Media Changer Deluxe, select Start | Settings | 
Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs. From the list select Media Changer Deluxe
and select the Add/Remove button. At the prompt select Yes.

SECOND VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: For Desktop Deluxe to work correctly, once you have
installed the application, follow this simple step:

In the folder you specified for the program icons (the default is a folder
named Desktop Deluxe), double-click on the Desktop Themes icon. If you do
not have Microsoft Plus!'s theme support already installed on your system,
you will be prompted for a path for your themes. The default listed is the
recommended path. Select OK and then once the Desktop Themes dialog is
displayed, click OK again. If you already have a theme or themes available 
in the themes path you chose, please select a theme first.

Now Desktop Deluxe will operate correctly.
